Cartographica: The International Journal for Geographic Information and Geovisualization

Cartographica is dedicated to publishing articles on all aspects of cartographic and geovisualization research while maintaining its tradition of publishing material on cartographic theory, the history of cartography, cartography and society, and critical cartography. Cartographica also publishes research contributions that focus primarily on geographic information (geovisualization), the geospatial web, and map art. Each volume of Cartographica is comprised of four issues: two or three regular issues and one or two single-topic monographs. These special monograph issues, accommodating book-length manuscripts, provide an extensive look at one particular area of cartography. The regular issues also include Short Articles, reviews of books and atlases as well as listings of recent cartographic literature from around the world.

Tables of Contents of current and previously published issues can be found at Cartographica Online You can also register for Cartographica Table of Contents alerting service at this location. Submission guidelines are available at Submission Guidelines.
